In a previous life your correspondent enjoyed a career in Brand Management with one of the leading blue chip Pharmaceutical and F. M. C. G. (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) companies. The competitive environment in this industry meant that innovative, impactful, creative marketing was vitally important, albeit within the limits of strict professional, regulatory, legislative and company guidelines.
