Her experience and expertise includes acting in public law proceedings for parents and children, handling matters via both direct representation of adult and child parties, as well as instructions through CAFCASS on behalf of children and young people.
These cases generally focus around allegations of significant harm brought by Local Authorities, including in complex non-accidental injury matters.
Cora's further areas of expertise include adoption and placement; special guardianship; private children law matters; domestic violence; and international/jurisdictional family matters.
Cora also represents extended family members and other interested parties and Interveners in proceedings.
Cora has been a member of the Law Society Children Panel Accreditation Scheme (Parents and Children) for almost 20 years; is a Resolution Qualified Family Mediator; and a member of Resolution.
