After working for several years dealing with clients and taking instructions and preparing documents and completing matters, Lesley qualified as a Lawyer using the ILEX route. She is now a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
Lesley provides advice in relation to all private client matters dealing with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyships, Administration of Estates both taxable or non-taxable and Testate or Intestate and manages a number of small trusts. She also has control of a number of matters under Lasting Powers of Attorneys and Deputyships, where she looks after the clients requirements and well being and also liaising with the local authorities when necessary and attending best interest meetings.
Lesley has a very good rapport with her clients, especially her elderly clients. She is very approachable and friendly and is able to put her clients at ease quickly and to ensure that the whole process does not cause them too much distress. Lesley is always available for her clients and gives them as much help and support as possible whilst dealing with their matters in a professional and competent way.
Lesley loves to travel both in England and abroad. She enjoys the cinema and spending time with her family. Lesley is a qualified netball umpire (having played competitively for more than 40 years before retiring) and she is generally out 2 or 3 times a week umpiring for a local team. Lesley also enjoys watching all other sports especially football and The Olympics.
